Thirteen riders competed in what were yet again windy conditions.
The first group was casual in getting the race underway, but the next three groups were eager to get things moving.
The scratch group of Peter Wemyss, Brendan Hinchcliffe, Sean Prins and Frank Kean showed they were up to the task, rolling through nicely and catching the front with only 2.5 kilometres to go.
With a crosswind blowing along the last piece of road, the trio subsequently blew the race apart. In the end, it was Hinchcliffe that prevailed after a spring to the finish line. It was his first victory in only his second race riding off scratch.
Frank Kean was awarded second with third going the way of Sean Prins. Peter Wemyss took fastest time for the first time this year.
Racing continues every Tuesday until December 15.
