The ACTC and ADTA have collaborated in this combined initiative developed to celebrate the receipt of funding for court resurfacing and create a social atmosphere to open the start of the tennis season.
The ACTC were recently successful in gaining a Victorian Government grant to help with the upgrading of the bottom two courts with new synthetic grass.
The opening round sees a rematch of last season’s grand final with reigning premiers Ararat taking on Elmhurst. Other matches include Buangor against Landsborough West and Crowlands versus Landsborough.
The ADTA and ACTC extend an invitation to all members of the public to come and join in the day which commences at 1.00pm.
Entry to the courts is free and barbecue tea will be available at a small charge.
