Community Action Plans identify projects and rank them in priority order to work towards completion.
Goals may be business related, environmental, educational or social.
Lake Bolac P-12 College principal George Porter said input is invited from young people through to the elderly.
“If you have a great idea about what could help our town to grow and prosper, or just to enjoy it more, let's hear it,” he said.
“There's lots to do and waiting for others to do it is not a proactive option.”
Two community consultation meetings will be held on Thursday.
There will be a morning tea meeting from 10am at the Lake Bolac Bush Nursing Centre.
A light meal will be provided at a supper meeting from 6pm at the same venue.
