The event was the annual Chalkies Day and Muller chalked up a solid 78 to claim A grade spoils with net 68. He also won the secret six holes best score.
In B grade, David Jennings scored with a net 68 while Robert Arthur shone in C grade with a net 70.
Birdies on the first hole were collected by Jennings and Michael Harricks. Nearest pins went to Michael Harricks (2nd hole), Robert Harricks (6th), Ian Gibson (15th), Phil Roberts (16th) and John Shaw picked up the pin and a birdie on the 18th hole. Consolation ball winners were Robert Harricks, Ashley Heard on 71 with Gibson, Dan O’Connell, Shaw, Clyde Vearing and Tyrone Hammerstein (72).
This Saturday is the monthly medal stroke event sponsored by the club’s Collingwood supporters.
