It was another cold weekend across the region with the temperature in Ararat going no higher than 9 degrees on Sunday.
It was a little warmer for the football on Saturday, the temperature rose to 12 degrees.
However, it felt much cooler for most of the day as icy winds blew in from the south.
Showers accompanied the strong winds.
Ararat recorded 4.0 millimetres in the 24 hours to 9am Saturday and a further 5.5mm in the day that followed.
The town has so far recorded 56.6mm of rain this July.
With just a few days left in the month it’s an each-way bet whether it will reach the long-term average of 62.8mm.
