As part of the arrangement, TGHA will design and construct, own and operate the new terminal station and 21 km of 132kV powerlines.
TGHA's Tim Rourke said the Ararat Terminal Station project marked a significant step forward in supporting the Australian renewable energy market, taking advantage of the more favourable investment environment for such projects.
"Transmission General Holdings Australia is excited to be partnering with Ararat Wind Farm to bring this project online," Mr Rourke said.
"As more and more large-scale renewable generation projects are developed in the coming years, our business is well positioned to ensure they are connected to the grid in the most efficient manner possible."
Construction is expected to begin in July.
