DIGITAL marketing experts including marketing commentator Trevor Young will converge on Ararat next Wednesday for the annual Grampians Tourism Industry Conference.

"The focus of the 2015 Grampians Tourism Industry Conference is digital marketing and we are thrilled to have secured a high quality speaker line-up," Grampians Tourism CEO, Will Flamsteed said.
"It's an exciting time for tourism in Western Victoria with the launch of Grampians Online, the new website for the region on 1 July, 2015 and the Grampians Tourism Industry Conference will help the tourism industry capitalise on new digital marketing opportunities."
The Grampians Peaks Trail, which has secured $19 million funding from the Victorian Government, and a further $10 million announced from the National Stronger Regions Fund, will also be a key feature of the conference.

- Dave Roberts, Parks Victoria, Ranger in Charge - Grampians Peaks Trail Update
More than 80 tourism business operators and representatives from Hamilton to Avoca are expected to attend the event in Ararat.
Conference attendees will get the opportunity to network, learn and share knowledge with peers in the Grampians Tourism region.
A Grampians Winemakers-sponsored networking event will conclude the Conference.
