The unlikely partners in crime were caught on CCTV using a stolen car to make a quick getaway after a theft from a sports store in Horsham on Wednesday.
The grey 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer sedan was stolen from outside a home on Ascot Street sometime between 9pm on May 4 and 10am on May 5.
The same car was spotted speeding away from an attempted burglary at a Rokewood farm on May 5.
The duo was captured on CCTV fleeing in the same stolen car after stealing sports clothing from a shop on Wilson Street in Horsham around 3pm Wednesday.
Police are investigating the incidents and have released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
He is described as Caucasian, aged in his late 20- early 30s and around 178-183cm tall, with a thin build and tattoos on his right upper arm.
Police would also like to speak to his sidekick, a boy aged between 11-14 years old and around 165cm tall with a thin build and dark collar-length hair.
Investigators are searching for the stolen Mitsubishi with registration number YYY 464.
