ONE of the region's premier fishing and aquatic sport attractions is dry and with the long range rainfall forecast predicting low to average rainfall, Green Hill Lake could remain that way.

Despite intermittent rainfall over the past week or so, the current year to date rainfall sits at 114.4mm, only lifted to that by January's 70mm, and very little since then.
However, the dry lake didn't deter campers over the Easter break, many still opting to stay at Green Hill lake for the peaceful environment and close proximity to Ararat's other attractions.
