Water Rats' Jack Cameron, Marcus Donnan and Ivana Donnan all produced terrific results at the competition, including personal best times in each of their respective events.
Cameron, competing in the 12-year-old boys' division, had qualified for four events butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle.
In the 50-metre butterfly, Cameron shaved a massive 10.17 seconds off his seed time (PB time from Wimmera season), while his next best was in the 50-metre backstroke where he improved by 4.32 seconds.
Marcus Donnan finished three places ahead of his team mate Cameron in the 12-year-old boys' 50m backstroke, with his time of 50.30 seconds quicker than his PB by 1.3.
Ivana Donnan was also a standout in the 10-year-old girls' division, improving her Wimmera times in both the 50m backstroke (from 56.36s to 54.35s) and 50m breaststroke (56.36s to 54.35).
Unfortunately no one from Ararat made it into the finals, however achieving PBs in all events proved their place at the championships. Matt Ough, Eloise Wills and Miette Hopper from Horsham also posted PBs during their finals on Sunday.
The Ararat Swimming Club will celebrate the end of a successful season by holding a presentation evening tonight.
