This will be the seventh year of the ride which will take off from Ararat and travel a 188km circuit that takes in the rural countryside of the Ararat Rural City municipality and to the fringes of the Grampians National Park including the townships of Maroona, Willaura for morning tea, Wickcliffe, Lake Bolac, Streatham and then back to Ararat for a relaxing barbecue in the Alexandra Gardens.

The ride is being organized by a sub committee of the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation - Ararat Branch and includes local motorcycle enthusiasts, police, local government, community groups and Ararat branch members with all proceeds from the event supporting East Grampians Health Service (Ararat Hospital).

The ride is a green corridor event and open to all licensed motorcycle enthusiasts, and conducted under police escort to maximise safety and to minimise disruption to road users.

With the ongoing interest in the ride it is expected a large contingent of up to 300 motorcycle enthusiasts from right across Victoria and interstate will converge on Ararat for the event.

The ride will depart at 9am from the Ararat Performing Arts Centre precinct, Barkly Street Ararat.

Many riders have already registered, however day registrations will be taken from 7.30am onwards and an area within the Performing Arts Centre has been set aside for this to happen smoothly.

En-route the ride will stop for a morning tea break at Willaura Memorial Hall with all funds raised there supporting Willaura Health Care.

Victoria Police - Northern Grampians Highway Patrol have full jurisdiction for the duration of the ride and prior to the event a safety briefing will be conducted at 8.30am so that all participants are reminded to have a safe and enjoyable ride around the region.

There will be a show 'n' shine, displays, coffee cart and the Blue Ribbon van with a selection of merchandising on sale.

The Rover Dream Project trailer and historical bikes that recently completed the journey from Adelaide to Darwin and raised vital funds through the Ararat Branch for the health service will also be on show and the team involved will present a cheque on the day.

Registration is $30 for riders and pillions and includes a complimentary barbecue luncheon pass, a showbag with a commemorative 2015 Grampians Ride to Remember badge and complimentary bottled water which will be handed out following the event.
