ONE man has been arrested and a quantity of drugs seized after police raided a home in Ararat last Thursday morning.

Officers executed a search warrant at an undisclosed address arresting the man and taking possession of plants and green vegetable matter.
The man, aged in his early 40s was taken to Ararat police station where he was questioned and later charged with cultivating, possessing and using a drug of dependence.
Ararat Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) detective Steve Oliver has urged anyone with information about drug activity across the region to come forward.
"We urge people to contact Crimestoppers (1800 333 000), should they have information on any similar activity," he said.
The man was bailed to appear in the Ararat Magistrates' Court early next year.
