Employee Recognition Awards recognise outstanding individual or team achievements which are above and beyond the expectation of the role.

"Earlier this year an EGHS staff member's daughter was involved in a serious accident which resulted in her having a lengthy stay at the Royal Children's Hospital," board president Louise Staley said.
"The recipient assisted this family in many ways through a difficult period. She provided meals, organised food and assisted and offered support in whatever way and how she could. She went above and beyond the requirements of her role and displayed compassion, kindness and concern to a fellow work colleague.
"This reflects our values of excellence, working together and community."
