The company is seeking expressions of interest from the community to join the cast and crew for The Stockman and his Rose, which has been locally written and produced by Ararat author Eve Contencin, who will also direct the show.
Interested people are invited along to an introduction night at St Andrew's meeting room in Barkly Street on Tuesday December 2 at 7pm, with a $5 donation to help get the production started.
The Stockman and his Rose is a two act stage play set against the backdrop of the Australian bush and the River Murray in the late 1800s.
Auditions will take place in January and the production will be staged at the Stawell Entertainment Centre in July next year.
