A NEW 'King of the Hill' will be crowned this weekend when the annual Ararat Hill Climb returns to One Tree Hill.

Proceedings will commence tonight from 6pm with scrutineering at Elizabeth Park (opposite McDonalds) and with a variety of cars on display the public is encouraged to head along and take a look.
Racing will then get underway at One Tree Hill on Saturday from 10am to 4pm, before continuing on Sunday from 9am to 4pm.
Competitors will be vying for the title of 'King Of The Hill' awarded to the fastest outright time of the weekend.
Also included in the event is a Victoria verses South Australia Challenge, with the winning state taking home the prestigious Peter Hall Memorial Trophy.
Entry for spectators across the weekend is free, with a barbecue supplied by the Y's Mens running during the event.
