Buangor is in fine form, accounting for Chalambar convincingly last weekend thanks largely to the Ganley brothers.

Harry and Jack have been in excellent form with bat and ball so far this season and will need to continue down that path tomorrow.

Tatyoon's Ash Maconachie and Darren Beer will open the batting and hopefully put a decent score on the board, while John Butler is expected to shoulder the workload of the bowling attack and make a couple of runs down the order.

Chalambar will go in search of its first win in the premier competition and looks a chance against Pomonal.

Pomonal will need to make more than the 89 runs it managed in its innings against Swifts/ Great Western if it is to be competitive tomorrow.

Chalambar was only slightly better than Pomonal in last weekend's clash with Buangor. Chally scored just 93 runs and were well beaten on the day.

Pomonal's opening batsman Matt Grinham will want to improve his batting after failing to trouble the scorers last week.

Grinham was not on his own with a batting duck, five others also failed to have an impact on the scoreboard.

Chalambar took just one wicket in its 17 overs in the field and that will need to improve if it is to be in with a chance against Pomonal.

It is early days in the season, but a win for both Pomonal and Chalambar is important to get their season on the right track.

Youth Club will face its first real test when it takes on rival Swifts/Great Western at Central Park.

Youth Club has started the season well with two wins from two games as well as a bye.

Steve LeGassick has been in good form with the bat and the ball, captain Jamie Solyom has also been in good touch.

Youth Club's new recruit Pete Barnett will create some uneasy batting for Swifts/Great Western as he moves the ball on the turf wicket.

The Combine will need their top order to perform well to make enough runs for their bowlers to defend.

Marc Brilliant is coming off a good game after he took three wickets for just two runs last weekend.

Gary Ranton also bowled well with two wickets for two runs and five maidens.

GCA officials would like the results so far with a more even than expected competition unfolding after four rounds.

Aradale will have its first bye of the season and currently sits in fourth place on the ladder.

It has had two wins against Buangor and Pomonal respectively and suffered its first loss last weekend at the hands of the undefeated Youth Club.
