Preps and grades one/two from Lake Bolac P-12 College invited the year one class from Skipton Primary School to join them in preparing a special Mexican Fiesta as part of their Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.
The kitchen was abuzz as the students were put into different groups to help prepare the feast. The menu consisted of chicken tinga tacos, salsa, guacamole, wheat tortillas, a spicy carrot and coriander salad and Mexican churros.
The school library was made into a makeshift restaurant, where the students were seated and able to enjoy their meal together.
