In what was also one of the biggest competitions in recent seasons (11 teams), Ricky Ralph Painting finished on top of the table with 34 points, ahead of a log jam of teams below it.
Four teams finished on 28 points, with J Ward second on percentage, followed by McDonalds, Embroidability and First National.
The final round saw J Ward boost its percentage with a massive 5-44 to 0-21 win over Molloy Bros.
Andy Tucker and Rob McKay got the team off to a solid start, but it was the performance of Andy Marx and Mark Stevens in the second set that stamped J Ward's authority on the match.
The pair were far too powerful for Peter Brennan and Will Flamstead, claiming the head-to-head battle 10 games to none.
Simon Barr paired up with Molloy Bros' team mate Flamstead in the fourth set to stop J Ward recording a clean sweep. The duo tied with McKay and Stevens but it was of little consolation for the one sided scoreline.
The contest between Watson Auto Repairs and Ararat RSL was a close battle, with RSL claiming the points despite winning one less set 2-35 to 3-33.
Michael Hope showed off his strong serving game for Watson Auto, while Nick Spinks and G McInnis were the perfect combination for power and finesse to urge their team across the line.
Embroidability controlled its match against Carey Covers to take honours 4-39 to 2-35.
Nigel Christie was the difference for the victors, winning all three of his sets, while Ben Hartwich was part of Carey Covers' two winning contests.
In the final match of the night McDonalds stormed home late to down Fisher's IGA 3-38 to 2-32.
Fisher's IGA looked set for victory when the team claimed the first two sets of the night, but Nigel Christie and Bruce Doery got McDonalds back on track with a 10-0 smashing of Jake Nyikos and Andy Kalluri in the fourth.
This gave the side all the momentum to win the final two sets of the night and take the points.
The Ararat City Tennis Club's summer competition will start on Wednesday, October 8. New players can contact the competition organiser Rick Thomas for further information on 0407 857 378.
