The Kitty Committee was formed following Ararat's participation in The Biggest Loser to administer the $145,000 won by the contestants for the Ararat community, and Ararat Active8 is the pay-it-forward program in which eight participants are currently changing their lifestyles, health and fitness levels for the better.
"We are excited to offer this session leading up to the finale of our Active8 program and along with other things already happening around Ararat and Stawell everyone's energy levels are high and the excitement is building," Sharon Basset from the Kitty Committee said.
"We are hoping to keep everyone's enthusiasm high by bringing several special guests to the Finale Gala Ball on October 11 so that active lifestyles will continue in and around the Ararat area."
Everyone of all fitness levels are invited to take advantage of this great opportunity for a free group training session at the Ararat YMCA Friday, September 19 - a great way to start your weekend!
The session will be held on the gymnastics floor at the YMCA at 5pm and it is free.
