The Hawks trailed the Magpies by a goal at the end of the opening quarter before using the wind to their advantage in the second term to open up a five point buffer.
It was a dominant second half which delivered Tatyoon its fourth reserves flag in five seasons, with the Hawks eventually claiming the 26-point win.
Jock Laidlaw was named the best on ground and received the AFL Victoria Country Medal, while Nathan Gannon and Rhys Burger also produced standout performances for the victors.
Adrian Howard led the way for Wickliffe/Lake Bolac.
In the under 16s the Ararat Eagles claimed back-to-back premierships with a 10.12 (72) to 7.5 (47) win over Moyston/Willaura.
The Eagles were in control of the contest from the outset, maintaining a gap on the scoreboard over the four quarters.
Zac Jenkins was best afield for the premiers, with Eagles' skipper Naish McRoberts also dominating with three goals.
Pumas' vice captain Ford Guthrie was his team's top performer, with good support coming from Pat Higgins and Jordan Wells.
Over on the netball court it was a fairytale finish for Wickliffe/Lake Bolac in the A grade, winning the premiership by eight goals after finishing the home and away season in fifth position.
The Ararat Eagles weren't able to claim their third straight C grade title, however it was a Tatyoon double in the 17 and under and 15 and under grades.
