The team at The Advertiser took the trophy for Best Advertising Feature - Under 3000 circulation for 'Ararat the weight is over' an advertising feature that appeared in The Advertiser prior to The Biggest Loser screening earlier this year.
In the Best Print or Digital House Advertisement - Under 3000 circulation, The Advertiser's Community Directory ad received a highly commended award while for its special publication on Ararat College 100 years, the team took out a commended award in the Best Special Publication - Open Circulation, quite an achievement considering it was up against competition from large and small publications across Victoria.
Manager Julie Miller congratulated her staff at The Advertiser on winning the award.
"Features are a team effort, requiring editorial staff, photographers and advertising staff to work together to produce a quality product," she said.
"The judges thought that our feature on The Biggest Loser was a high quality product that was both eye catching and informative as well as promoting our clients to the region."
