The ATC is looking for actors and wannabes for a show called The Paradise Club - a theatre-restaurant show again written by Ararat playwrights John Mawson and Rob Smith.
This year's show has a gangster theme and, as usual, there are around 30 roles in this crazy comedy. If you decide to join the cast, you can be sure of getting something exciting and challenging to do.
It will be directed by John Mawson with the assistance of Rob Smith and the familiarisation night will be held next Tuesday, August 26 at the Arts and Craft Room at the rear of the Ararat Performing Arts Centre from 7.30pm.
Everyone is invited along, but please remember if you intend to participate in The Paradise Club, you must be prepared to give up most of your Tuesday and Thursday nights for rehearsal and some Friday and Saturday nights in November for production.
The show will be staged in Ararat at APAC on Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22, but there will also be out-of-town venues.
Elmhurst has been set for Saturday, November 15 and Moyston has been set for Friday, November 28 and there is a possibility of further venues.
Interested parties should record all of the above dates and then get along to the familiarisation night.
The Ararat Theatre Company is looking forward to a huge roll-up on next week and would again encourage the message that everyone is welcome.
