Around Ararat This Weekend:
The football season is nearing the business end of the year with tomorrow being the final round of the Mininera and District Football League home and away season, with close matches at Mininera (SM&W Rovers vs Tatyoon) and Lake Bolac (Wickliffe/Lake Bolac v Ararat Eagles).
The Ararat Rats also play their final home match at Alexandra Oval as they look to keep their Wimmera Football League season alive.
On Sunday from 11am at Richardson Oval, Bombers and Mounties will go head-to-head in the Ararat and District Junior Football Association grand final.
