Mid court player Tayla Notting played well, directing the ball into attack with precision, while Amanda Clark was also dominant in the goal circle for the Pies.
Wickliffe/Lake Bolac continues to race towards the finals after the emphatic 62 goal thrashing.
The Magpies have the finals in their sights, and it is entirely possible for them to appear in the elimination final next Sunday if they can overcome Ararat comfortably tomorrow.
In a bid to keep its finals hopes alive, Penshurst turned the tables on a struggling Tatyoon. The Bombers took control of the match from the outset and were never hindered.
Hawks' youngsters Jane Astbury and Shani Dickens shone as their team went down 41 to 63.
Moyston/Willaura cemented its top five ladder position with a good win against Great Western.
The Lions found it tough from the start, some wayward passing letting them down. The Pumas took advantage scoring from the turnovers on numerous occasions.
Moyston/Willaura tried some new combinations on the court, the result giving the Pumas some varying options come finals.
Katy Jewell is finding her way back into form at the right time of the year, named best alongside consistent goalie Kira Stapleton. Erin Freeland and Kristy McEvoy were the Lions' best.
Lismore/Derrinallum has regained its winning form in time for the finals, disposing of SM&W Rovers at Lismore.
It was a tough match, both sides going hard at the ball, however it was the accurate shooting and the dependable feeding into the goal circle that made it hard for the Bulldogs.
Tamara Chilton and Laura Molloy were named best for Rovers.
Ladder leaders Glenthompson/Dunkeld defeated a young Ararat Eagles' team by 26 goals.
Using their overall height and general strong play, the Rams were too good for Ararat, who are at the moment, in a phase where they are giving their younger players some experience in A grade.
The Eagles' best were Lisa Haddow and Erin Hinchliffe.
The ladder's top four positions are now relatively settled ahead of the finals, however only four points separates the teams.
