It’s Jeans for Genes Day’s 21st birthday this year and is a national day when people wear their jeans to raise much-needed funds for research into birth defects and diseases such as cancer, epilepsy and a range of genetic disorders.
Every dollar raised on the day helps scientists at Children’s Medical Research Institute discover treatments and cures, to give every child the opportunity to live a long and healthy life.
The staff at First National will be wearing special Jeans for Genes hoodies and of course their denim and will run a barbecue this Friday from 12noon to 2pm to raise funds for research into childhood diseases.
Come along and show your support and even dare to wear double denim!
