It will be a wild old day today with scattered showers, snow falling as on ranges above 600 metres and possible hail. There is also the chance of thunderstorms until evening and we are heading for a top of just nine degrees

What's on Today:

St Mary's Primary School is hosting a morning tea at 10.30am for Father Brendan Davey who is retiring, with his last service to be held this Sunday.

Victorian Deputy Premier Peter Ryan will be in town today, attending the Putting Locals First Forum at Gum San from 1pm-2.15pm before attending under-17 training with the Ararat Football Club at Alexandra Oval from 4.30pm.
