We didn't quiet have snow fall yesterday like further up the road in Ballarat, but it was bitterly cold with plenty of showers and that is what we can expect again today. Heading for a top of 11 degrees after temperatures fell to an overnight low of 3.
Update on Manhunt:
On Tuesday night police were called to a Trawalla address with concerns Ararat escapee Andrew Darling may be located there, however, a thorough search of the property found no traces of the escapee.
Detective Sergeant Mick Gunn from the fugitive taskforce told radio station 3AW on Wednesday morning that investigators are still searching the area around the correctional facility in Ararat. Detective Sergeant Gunn said Darling stopped taking his medication four days prior to walking out on Sunday, but didn't reveal what medication he was on.
He said there have been numerous reports of sightings of Darling, but despite a nationwide manhunt the 42-year-old is yet to be located.
