Reports of scattered snow showers about the ranges above 700 metres early this morning. Today we can expect scattered showers and the chance of thunderstorms, possibly severe with damaging winds. Winds northwesterly 30 to 40 km/h turning west to southwesterly 35 to 50 km/h early in the morning then becoming westerly 25 to 40 km/h in the early afternoon. Overnight temperatures fell to a very chilly 2 and 5 degrees, while we should reach a top of between 11 and 14 today.
