Ms Roper began her career in banking in May 1989 and has seen many different changes to the organisation over this time and has witnessed first hand how banking has evolved and changed.
In her time with the bank Ms Roper has held many different positions at the branch, beginning as a part time teller and working to become a supervisor and customer relationship officer, customer relationship manager and her most recent achievement becoming the manager of the branch in January this year.
Ms Roper has developed many great long term relationships with the customers and seen many changes to the branch and worked with various different people.
She still has great passion for her role and believes in the bank, its values and the community.
Mrs Roper said the most satisfying part of her job has been helping her customers achieve their goals and feels a great sense of reward by contributing funds back to the community through the Ararat Community Enterprise.
Staff at the bank congratulated Ms Roper on a wonderful career.
