What’s on around Ararat today:

The exhibition, Deinstitutionalisation remains on display at the Ararat Regional Art Gallery. The display sees a photographic series by Yask Desai, focusing on the Aradale Asylum, the former psychiatric hospital in Ararat. Admission to the gallery is free and hours are Mon-Fri 10am-4.30pm and Sat-Sun 12pm-4pm.

The Ararat Pony Club will hold its Annual General Meeting tonight from 7pm in the pony club rooms.

Movie of the Week:

It’s that time again and this week’s movie to see is Grace of Monaco. It is the story of former Hollywood star Grace Kelly’s crisis of marriage and identity, during a political dispute between Monaco’s Prince Rainier III and France’s Charles De Gaulle, and a looming French invasion of Monaco in the early 1960s. Starring Nicole Kidman, it is now showing at the Ararat Astor Cinema with a running time of 105 minutes.
