The program, which gets underway on Sunday, May 18, attracts more than 100,000 primary school aged participants across Australia, making it the largest grassroots sporting association of its kind in the country.
In 2013 Ararat had about 80 boys and girls take part in the program.
Those who register online will receive a 2014 NAB AFL AusKick bag. The bags will be ready for collection on Friday, May 2 and can be picked up at Ararat SportzBiz from 4pm-5.30pm.
During the program children will learn a variety of things, including the fundamental motor skills for future physical activity and sports participation, the basics of fitness conditioning and how to train and practise for football.
Parents wishing to register their child for AusKick must do so online at www.aflauskick.com.au/register or for more information contact Ararat co-ordinator, Tim Shea on 0407 525 892.
