Set within the majestic Ararat Performing Arts Centre on Saturday March 15 the ball attracts traditional rock 'n' roll dancers from across the state.
Participants will bring out their finest and 'dress to impress' in this the 20th anniversary ball according to festival director Ian Wilson.
"We are expecting a sell out crowd once again as rockers from a huge catchment area descend on Ararat for one of the most popular rock 'n' roll festivals on the events calendar," Mr Wilson said.
"With this being our 20th anniversary we are keen to ensure that festival guests have many opportunities to strut their stuff on the dance floor. With an extended music program, additional dance floors in Barkly Street and four terrific rock 'n' roll dance bands and DJ in attendance there is sure to be something for every attendee.
The Cruisers from Mount Gambier will be making a welcome return to the Centre on the Saturday night. With their impressive costume changes and much loved music, you are guaranteed an excellent night of dancing, great company and fashions galore as over 250 people take to the dance floor.
Tickets are available on-line, in person at Hidden Secrets or via phone on 0417 519 640.
So dust off the dance shoes, polish the hot rod, dress to impress and join rockers in in Ararat from Friday March 14 to Sunday March 16.
The Jailhouse Rock Festival is a community run event with funds raised re-invested into future festivals.
