During the recent Australia day long weekend police were out and about conducting patrols at boat ramps around Lake Bolac.
Boaters were checked to ensure they are complying with laws on the water and boat and PWC operators were checked for their licence and registration on entry to the lake, while police also randomly breath tested 50 operators.
All vessels that were checked for safety equipment were found to comply with regulations.
"Considering the hot weather we had over the weekend all users of the lake were well behaved and there were no offences detected on the waterway," Senior Constable Brendan Vann said.
