Ms Fox and her husband are planning to venture around Australia in 2014, but for the second year the pair have come to Lake Bolac to help with harvesting.
Ms Fox said she arrived in Lake Bolac just after Christmas and is planning on staying in Lake Bolac for about five weeks.
"The weather has played a part. It hasn't been a good start, but we should get started soon and it won't take too long to finish," she said.
Ms Fox and her husband began harvesting in Warracknabeal in December before making their way south to Lake Bolac.
The Port Fairy local said it has been a good start to the new year.
"It is a really good family park and very clean. It is a great atmosphere," she said.
"We haven't been out on the lake but have walked along the shore.
"I have five grandchildren and I bring one up at a time for a few days because of the size of the van."
If all goes well, the Lake Bolac harvest could become an annual tradition.
"We've rented our house out for 12 months and once we have finished harvest we will take off around Australia," Ms Fox said.
"We are going to leave the truck here and then do the grain again, which will fund our trip again for next year."
