Many guests travelled from locations across the state, some from as far afield as Adelaide and Alice Springs, to join Pat in celebration and reflection on the many accomplishments throughout her life.
Pat has been an energetic member of the Ararat and district community, joining and contributing to many clubs and organisations, including the Maroona Primary School and Ararat High School mothers' clubs, Laurel Club, book club, the Art Train, Ararat U3A, calligraphy group, sculptors group, choir, host and travel group, Tai Chi, old time dance group, Stan Kelly Art Group, life drawing group and the Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
As a regular patron at the Willaura Pool and Ararat Olympic Pool, Pat has introduced her seven children, 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren to the joys of safe, summer fun.
Everyone enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of stories accompanied by an afternoon tea provided by the team at Gorrinn House.
