ARARAT - Up to eighty people passed through the doors of the Ararat YMCA recently as young musicians took to the stage as part of the Ararat Youth Exposure Festival.

For four hours visitors were entertained by bands and local acts from Ararat, Stawell and Horsham as well as talented performers from further afield.
The line-up included one of the acts from the X factor television series 11 - Rob Baron who made the top 24.
Pomonal's young talent 'Doug on Drums' Doug Curwen was particularly impressive taking little time to rest his arms from belting out a beat during the afternoon.
Also on hand to entertain was Makeshift Believers, Simone Bullen, Requiem and Black Moon Apocalypse.
The event was a Central Grampians LLEN and FReeZA hosted drug, alcohol and smoke free festival that was open to people all ages.
Due to the success of the event the local organisation hopes to run similar events which attract even larger audiences in the future.
