MOYSTON - Students from three of the region's primary schools came together at the Moyston Hall on Friday the 13th for several activities to mark the day.
Up to 80 students from prep to grade six from Maroona, Buangor and Moyston primary school joined together to take part in the black Friday theme of 'Dark and Gloomy'.
The children dressed up in some creepy and kooky outfits and took part in a 'jump off' with skipping ropes as part of a jump rope for heart event.
The fundraiser raised awareness of the foundation and all the proceeds from a sausage sizzle as well as school donations were put towards the very worthy cause.
The sausage sizzle lunch was followed by a performance from the Ararat Secondary College band which rocked out to some new age tunes during its half hour performance.
The young students appreciated their senior peers talents which were on show for half an hour to round out the day.
All three primary schools come together once a month as part of an initiative between the schools.
