ARARAT - Police are investigating two separate acts of criminal damage over consecutive days at the Ararat Harness Racing track in Blake Street.
The first is believed to have occurred between 4pm and 5.10pm on Thursday, August 29.
Unknown offenders gained access to an unused club room, once inside they smashed two large holes in the asbestos plasterboard walls.
The roof of the alcove was also hit with an unknown object causing an unknown amount of damage.
Just over 24 hours later criminal damage was done to a toilet block at the track.
Between 6pm on Friday, August 30 and 3pm on Saturday, August 31 a sink inside the block was smashed off the wall and two toilet seats broken.
Damage was also caused to the window of a shed connected to the toilet block, but no entry was gained.
The value of damage from the second incident is estimated to be $800.
