ARARAT - Finalists in this year's Powercor Grampians Pyrenees Business Achievement Awards have been announced.
The independent panel of judges spent many hours reading over all the applications to establish the 15 finalist businesses that are now in the running to walk away with an award at the gala dinner held later this month.
Pyrenees Shire Council manager of economic development and tourism, Ray Davies said the businesses were filled with excitement and looking forward to a great night of entertainment at the gala dinner.
"This is always an exciting stage within the Awards campaign; businesses are recognised for their efforts and can celebrate this time with their staff and peers," he said.
"I would like to congratulate each and every finalist. They have obviously shown a high level of distinction within their respective categories and deserve the opportunity to celebrate their achievements."
The awards have attracted a wide array of business across a selection of industries, including Three Troupers Pantry, Quoin Hill Vineyard, Eurambeen Homestead, Frews, Waacks Bakery, Stawell Sportspower, AME Systems, Clarks Furniture, Krause Bricks, GJ Gardner Homes Ararat, Pyrenees Hay Processors Coop, Cave Hill Creek, Westlake Fertilisers, Avoca Hotel.
Tickets are now on sale and selling fast for the gala dinner which is being held on Friday August 30 at the Avoca Shire Turf Club and can be booked through Pyrenees Shire Council by calling 5349 1153 or email email@example.com.
