ARARAT - An excellent night of fundraising by the Team TnT and Ararat Harness Racing Club was held at the Russell T White raceway.
A great crowd was in attendance to raise money for Thomas and Tayla Sladdin, who suffer from Cystic Fibrosis.
The first race, the Team TNT three-year-old pace was won by local trainer Peter Manning with Ben Cartwright by eight metres.
Race two saw an easy win by trainer-driver David Murphy by 16.9 metres aboard One Track Mind in the smart mile rate of 1.59.9.
In race three the trotters faced up with local trainer-driver Michelle Manning saluting the judge with a good drive on Idle Suntime.
Winning by 13.6 metres race four saw another win for Peter Manning driven by daughter Kerryn with Additallup nosing out Brooke Hansen's In the Frame Lombo.
In race five Hector Barbossa was too good, driven well to finish 9.7 metres in front of second placed Leroy O'Brien driven and Booke Hansen trained Rockstar Ruler.
The race six Alayna and Lily Pitcher pace was won by the inform Whata Punt, trained and driven by Matt Craven.
Whata Punt finished in the very fast time of 1.58.1, 6.5 metres in front of second placed The Noble Steed.
In race seven, the main race of the day, the Thomas and Tayla pace saw the very smart Amajorjo win by 16.9 metres in the time of 1.59.9.
Second place was claimed by the trained and driven by Kerryn Manning Princeofthieves with Majeur Le Crest 2.5 metres back.
In the last race the three-year-old Trot was won by a length of 9.1 metres by Zoomas Devil.
