ARARAT - Ararat Police are investigating the theft of livestock from a rural property.
A total of 61 lambs was reportedly stolen from a property in Tatyoon, with an estimated value of $5,500.
Police have said the theft is believed to have occurred sometime between October and December 2012.
In a separate incident Ararat Police are investigating the cause of a vehicle fire on December 24.
Police are treating the fire, which took place in Mitchell Road as suspicious.
The older model Holden Commodore was severely damaged during the incident.
On December 25 a notebook computer was stolen from a Baird Street property.
