ARARAT - Ararat will play host to the Green Triangle Motorcycle Club Enduro Series next Saturday, May 30.

Riders from South Australia, Bendigo, Geelong, Warrnambool and Mount Gambier will compete against local riders at a property near the Dunworthy State Forest.

It will be the first time a Green Triangle Enduro Series event has been held in Ararat.

A total of five meets are held over the course of the season, each over varying distances and terrains.

Green Triangle competitions offer five different classes based on rider ability.

Riders will contest Pro, Expert, Clubman A (faster riders), Clubman B (slower riders and novices) and Veteran categories next weekend.

Interested riders are able to register on the day, but must be over the age of 16 and hold an Australian Motorcycle Licence.

Day licences will be available for purchase at the event at a cost of $45. The race entry fee is $35.

The racing will kick off at 1pm with rider registration commencing at 12 noon.
