MDFL - Moyston Willaura Football and Netball Club held its presentation night on Friday October 9 at the Willaura Hall.
Over 200 people attended the evening, with the club serving 170 meals.
Craig Flower was the man of the moment, claiming the senior best and fairest trophy from John Vanderwaal.
Flower had another exceptional season with the Pumas and was favourite to take out the top award.
He also polled well in the W J Lewis Medal count, attracting 16 votes and taking home the coveted Paul's Dairy Award for the second year running.
Vanderwaal again played a pivotal role in the Moyston Willaura line up.
His marking skills and ability to find the ball did not go unrecognised, seeing him rewarded with runner-up honours.
In the reserves, league best and fairest Luke Foster claimed the top award from Tom Gellert.
Foster was the clear stand out in the Pumas' side, while Gellert also put in a fantastic season.
Hugh Sheehan took out the under 16 best and fairest over Peter Butler.
Sheehan, a talented midfielder led the Pumas' onball brigade and was a dangerous force pushing forward, finishing the season with 11 goals.
He polled consistently throughout the season and also played a brilliant game on grand final day. Despite the team going down to Penshurst, Sheehan was awarded the Peter and Helen Brown Medal.
Butler was the league's leading goal kicker this season, booting 74 for the year. He also played some games in the reserves.
The netball best and fairest presentations saw dynamic mid-court player Jess Jackson victorious over the versatile Jen Butler in A grade.
In B grade, goal defence Grace Reid reigned supreme over co-defender Ash Bahl.
C grade saw Shelley Wells take top honours after an impressive year in the goal circle, while defender Alex Heard claimed runner-up.
League best and fairest Kaitlan Brain won the 16 and under club best and fairest from accurate goal attack Zanetta Hosking.
Under 13 league best and fairest Mary Butler also won the Pumas' vote count, edging out runner-up Angela Brain.
The Pumas also made a special presentation to Les Bright during the evening.
Bright, who has been timekeeping senior matches for 31 years, won the most committed clubman award.
He has missed only four matches in his time in the role and has attended every club league delegate meeting since being elected to the position this year.
Bright also cooks barbecues on training nights, mows the Willaura oval for home games and mans the gate on match day.
To cap off the night, the 16 and under netball grand final winners were presented with jumpers to mark their very first premiership.
