Williamson was selected to tour with the School Sport Australia under 19 women's basketball team following her recent success at championships in Newcastle.

Williamson will play ten games against top-ranked high schools in North Carolina. This will not only give Williamson the opportunity to represent her country in basketball, but will also allow her to showcase her talents in front of USA college scouts.

College basketball provides young players with the chance to enjoy a quality basketball experience while getting an education.

The Ararat Redbacks basketball teams have been huge supporters of Williamson and players will have their fingers crossed that she makes a big impression overseas.

The Redbacks wished Williamson well before the tour and presented her with a donation towards her trip.
