The two debutante balls will be held at the Ararat Performing Arts Centre, with 20 debutantes and their partners to be presented tonight and 23 tomorrow night.

The official party this year will include past regional director of Australian Y's Menettes Beverly Holt, president of the Ararat Y's Men's Club Bruce Bartlett and president of Ararat Y's Menettes Club Krystyna Stigger.

Mayor of Ararat Rural City Cr Gwenda Allgood and husband Morrie will attend tomorrow's ball and Cr John Cunningham and wife Lyn will attend tonight's ball.

Junior attendants are Riley Perry-Parmenter and Sam Pilgrim.

The debutante sets have been trained by Sheila and Neil Thornton, assisted by Marlene and Joe Perry.
