ARARAT - Bricklayers are generally not known for their dancing prowess, however Jared Dadswell will try to dispel this theory when he takes to the stage for the Ararat Football Netball Club's Dancing With Our Stars.
With dancing experience listed as `the late night boogie at the local drinking holes', Jared will need all the help he can get when he hits the floor at the Ararat Performing Arts Centre on October 18.
Fortunately he has help close at hand, with cousin Karly Harris having many years experience as a dancer.
The family has a good pedigree, with other cousin Amy Harris currently in Paris with the Australian Ballet.
Rumour has it that a web link has been set up for some specialist training, and that perhaps we are a chance of seeing a pas de deux from Swan Lake!
Jared and Karly are raising money for the Cancer Council, and will be holding a sausage sizzle in conjunction with the Ararat Lions Club tomorrow morning to help raise funds.
