ARARAT - Ararat Rural City Council Mayor, Cr Andrea Marian welcomed and congratulated Erelyn Ross of Excellent Relax on the successful creation of her new business venture.

Cr Andrea Marian said it was very pleasing to see another business start up within the municipality.

"Business growth is really moving ahead within Ararat Rural City and it is very positive to see more and more home-based businesses like Excellent Relax within the municipality," she said.

"Owner, Erelyn Ross, offers customers the choice of remedial massage treatment at their own home or at Excellent Relax" she said.

"Many tourists, as well as locals, are looking for high quality remedial massage therapies, hot rock massage or shiatsu and Excellent Relax will be able to cater for them," Cr Marian said.

Ms Ross, who has lived in Ararat for more than twenty years, is well known for her friendly and positive attitude towards life. Humble beginnings have not held Ms Ross back in life. Following her father's death, Ms Ross began working at the age of 12 to supplement her family of seven's income.

Entrepreneurial from an early age, Ms Ross knows that hard work and the value of excellent customer service are integral to achieving positive results for herself and her customers.

Ms Ross puts the accomplishment of her goals and challenges down to many years of study, which have included learning Japanese, positive psychology, information technology and becoming a fully qualified remedial therapist specialising in hot stone and cupping therapies.

Ms Ross is also qualified in Thai, Shiatsu and Reflexology massage.

A mobile massage service is also offered with an extra service charge for clients who would like the treatment in the comfort of their own home.

Gift vouchers are also available if you wish to give a friend or relative a unique birthday or special occasion gift.

Appointments are available 8am to 8pm Tuesday and Thursday and 4pm to 8pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Appointments can be made by phoning (03) 5352 5477 or 0411 090 698.
